Andrew C. Laird
Andy graduated in 1997 from West Chester University with a B.S. degree in Marketing. Andy attended Widener University School of Law and during his tenure at Widener he was named to the Dean’s Honors List and earned a Certificate of Achievement in the seminar class representing the Elderly Client.
He was employed in the telecommunications industry from 1997 to1999 and the pharmaceutical industry from 1999 to 2006. Andy has defended clients in a variety of criminal matters involving summary, misdemeanor, and felony offenses. He has represented clients in divorce and child custody actions in Montgomery, Chester, Berks, and Bucks Counties. Additionally, he has represented businesses and business owners in prosecuting and defending a variety of disputes, including preliminary injunctions, involuntary dissolutions, breach of contract, tortuous interference with contractual relations, and other legal and equitable remedies. Andy has also represented clients in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties in matters involving real estate, contractor disputes, employment disputes, Will contests, and prosecution and defense of other civil matters.
Andy has represented clients in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania as both an Appellant and Appellee Attorney as well as brought and defended claims before the American Arbitration Association.
Andy has been an active Private Pilot since September 1995. Currently he possesses both Single Engine Land and Sea ratings. Additionally, he is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Brandywine Airport Pilots Association, Lawyer Pilots Association and 1/3 owner of a Piper Cherokee, PA28-180. In 2007 Mr. Laird was admitted as a Panel Attorney for the Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association Legal Services Plan.
