Robert H. McGuckin

Bob graduated from Ursinus College with a B.A. in Politics and International Relations. After graduation he transitioned to full time employment in the technology sector with a telecommunications company that he worked with during college. After a year, he decided the time was right to go to law school and decided to attend and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, The Dickinson School of Law.

Bob's academic achievement and internships, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office and Teva Neuroscience during law school, lead to a position with the prestigious law firm of Pepper Hamilton, LLP in their Health Effects department. Bob was recruited from Pepper Hamilton to work for Terry D. Goldberg and Associates where he handled a large volume of Personal Injury cases.

Having been born and raised in Perkiomen Valley, Bob was thrilled to join King Laird, P.C. in 2010.

Licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Bob represents clients from all over the region. Bob is experienced in many areas of law; however, focuses primarily on Personal Injury, Corporate and Small Business, Administrative, and Government Affairs and Strategic Planning.

Always active in his community, he recently was a candidate for State Representative in the 152nd district during the 2010 elections. He was able to gain nearly 8,000 votes against a challenging incumbent opponent. Bob currently advises many candidates and elected officials concerning public policy matters and communication strategies.
