Many times there are alternative options to lessen the impact of the judicial system.

Often there is confusion with regards to the charges of robbery, burglary, and theft. The prosecution has the burden to prove those charges against you, and as such there is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. These charges can be summarized as follows:

Theft: There are many theft related charges such as retail theft, insurance fraud, unauthorized use of credit cards, identity theft, and many crimes categorized as white collar crimes, such as embezzlement. If one is accused for any type of stealing, theft charges may be brought against them.

Burglary: The charge of burglary requires the entering of a home or business with the intent of engaging or committing a felony inside the home or business.

Robbery: Robbery typically involves the taking of something by force, from someone else. If you are in possession of a gun and charged with robbery, you face an automatic five (5) to ten (10) years incarceration if convicted.
